Apple Tree Childcare Fees Policy
Rationale
Parents should be fully aware of the cost of using the centre and conditions and criteria used in payment of fees.
Procedures
- A schedule of the center’s fees will be displayed on the parents notice board
- The centre will provide the Fees Policy with the enrolment forms
- Fees are based on the hours / days the child is enrolled, not the hours that the child attends
- The minimum enrolment days are two days per week
- Parents are able to enrol their children for long or short days
- Your weekly fee will be adjusted for long sessions or extra days
- The Centre is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
- The Centre normally opens for a part day on the last day prior to Christmas holiday and New Year
- We do not have make up days
How to Pay
- When you enrol your child you will pay one week deposit and another week in advance
- The centre encourages Automatic Payment, but you may also pay cash or by cheque
- Payments are due each Friday for the following week's fees
Fees
- Childcare fees/accounts are required to be kept in credit at all times
- The Management will issue a notice of the overdue accounts
- Enrolment may be suspended if parents do not pay the overdue account within one week
- If parents terminated enrolment with fees unpaid, their debt will be transferred to a debt collector agency
- The Centre will not be open on statutory holidays but normal fees still applies
- A late fee applies when children are picked up after the centre's closing time
- Late Fees are $1 per minute and should be paid to the staff in charge
